About Our Work
Out of 750 languages in Papua New Guinea, God has directed us to a new area where little mission work hs been done. God willing, we intend to teach the Tobo people about the truth of the Gospel. We pray the Lord will raise up a church among this group to the praise of His name.
There are roughly seven main villages in the Tobo language group with about six to eight satellite villages equaling approximately 5,000-7,000 people (possibly more)!
The village of Lengbati where we built our house, has about 500 people. Our goal is that the people of Lengbati and satellite villages will reach out to the rest of the Tobo language group.
It takes exactly one hour in a single engine airplane to fly from Madang to Lengbati (that is how we will get our supplies flown in every month and it is our only mode of transportation in and out of the tribe - except walking!)
